End of 2011 Sessions!
So… I have been really bad about blogging in these mild winter months. If there is a public out there that follows my ramblings, I apologize profusely for not prioritizing new blog posts. I thank you in advance for your forgiveness. Instead of dragging on trying to post each of these sessions individually and that process dragging out for another couple months, I am just going to do one marathon post for your enjoyment. Here goes!
The Starkes Family :: The awesome Starkes met us at Perimeter Church and we took advantage of an amazing sunset for some options for their Christmas Card. It was a blast hanging out with this Party of Six!

Easton is New Here:: What a sweet little cowboy! I was so excited to meet this little man. He made his appearance a couple weeks early, so he was a tiny monkey, but he decided to be awake most of the time also. I would be too if i was being moved and adjusted and all without any clothes on. It didn’t stop him from being adorable, though. We snuck in a couple for the christmas card at the end!

The Davidson Family:: It is such a privilege to take pictures of another photographer’s family for them. Katie Davidson is an amazing Family photographer so the pressure was on. Luckily her two boys were adorable and so sweet! We started losing the sun, but not before getting some good shots for the christmas card!

Tricia and Kyle are Expecting:: It was my great honor to capture this sweet couple so soon before their family will completely change. Tricia and Kyle are expecting their first baby and glowing like crazy. Tricia is a very good friend of mine and she is also my hair stylist, if you are looking for someone, she is going to have some downtime soon, but once she is back, she is ah-ma-zing!

The Sherrill Family:: For the New Year we had the extreme honor of hosting the Sherrills at our house for the weekend and we ran out quickly during the day on New Years Eve which was a gorgeous day and coincidentally a gorgeous family, everything a photographer could ask for…

Ishani’s !st Birthday Party:: The first weekend in January I had the privilege of taking pictures of a special little girl’s first birthday party. Ishani’s mom also happens to be Annelise’s Pediatrician. It was so fun to share in this fun family event. There were plenty of kids who came out to Catch Air to celebrate with sweet Ishani!

:: It was my privilege to be a part of all of your lives this winter. Thank you for inviting me in!
Love!

Emily and Matt are Expecting
Matt and Emily are upcoming first time parents who both make this world a little brighter with their careers. Emily educates young minds and gives the next generation love and support and Matt is the head baker and in charge of production at one of the best bakeries in the world, Great Harvest Bakery in Johns Creek, GA. I know how good it is first hand because I worked their part time until I had my daughter, and Matt is the best, hardest working employee, not to mention the best baker that they have. Which means he is making the world a little brighter one 4 a.m. call time at a time. Here are some of my favorite pics from their maternity shoot…

Matt and Emily, I can’t wait to meet little Easton! Thank you for letting me capture this brief, fleeting time before your little family grows!

Spring Minis… finally
So I knew that I was behind on blogging, but didn’t realize how behind I was. I shot these mini sessions back at the end of May! Summer definitely does not equal more time, I have no idea how it is suddenly August! Anyway, these sessions were for any type of portraits in the park, but it turned out to be mini maternity! Somehow I attracted gorgeous women who are with child that day and their families. It was a hot and awesome and I love celebrating this phase of life!
First I took pictures with Zack and Robin in anticipation of their first child. When I took these pictures they didn’t know if the child was a girl or a boy! I can’t imagine not knowing but it was so sweet to participate in their surprise! Here are a couple of my Favorites!

Next I hung out with the Philips Family who were expecting their second: a girl to give their oldest boy who was about to turn 2 a playmate!

Last but not least I got to meet Becky and Brian as they were expecting their baby girl, Ellie.

Thank you all for letting me spend some quality time with you during such an exciting phase of your family’s life!

The Hanlan Family!
Jennifer got in touch with through my sister-in-law, Jessica. Together they save lives as they nurse one heart patient at a time a Piedmont Hospital. After seeing Jessica’s wedding photos, she and Dave asked us to photograph their family’s two milestones, their son Connor turning two and the impending arrival of Hanlan boy #2: Aiden. We met them down the road from their house at Taylor-Brawner Park in Smyrna. It was a small, beautiful park with a huge front lawn, and plenty of places to take some beautiful fall pictures of their growing family. Here are a couple of our favorites!

Dave, Jennifer, and Connor, it was a blast hanging out with you! We can’t wait to meet baby Aiden very soon! Congrats!

Sabrina and Brian + Belly
I literally don’t have idea where to start to tell you about this precious family. James and I met Brian and Sabrina a week before we got married when we started hanging out with group of young couples weekly to talk about life, marriage, and the Lord. Since then these couples have become some of our best friends. It is not the first time we have taken pictures of Sabrina, she let us trash her dress a year and a half ago, and so glad that we did, because it wouldn’t fit anymore!

Brian and Sabrina, we have been so privileged to live alongside both of you. To pray for a child with you for so long, to pray for her health as she has grown inside you, and now for her safe arrival. You are the most precious of friends and we cannot wait to meet Hannah Grace! Not to mention the pictures to come!

Lynn and Kristin + Belly!
We met Lynn and Kristin for the first time at our “studio” (apt) a couple weeks ago. Kristin knew Tally in High School and saw the maternity pictures we did with her a few months ago. How did we get so blessed to be surrounded by beautiful mommies to be with adorable bellies? Kristin first heard Lynn’s voice at a Karaoke event at the Fox. I am guessing his voice is awesome (even though he wouldn’t sing for us) because Kristin fell for him, and just over a year since there wedding, their little boy is due November 15!

Kristin had a really hard time not smiling… we would ask for a serious face, and she would just melt into laughter, especially when Lynn was in the pictures… I have a feeling this next picture captures most of their life…

Lastly, we took a few name tag pictures, but they have not yet revealed to their family and friends what they decided on. In fact they might use these pictures to reveal his name, so for now…

Lynn and Kristin, we can’t wait to meet your little guy, as I am sure all of your family and friends are… but not nearly as much as the two of you. We are praying for a fast, safe, and possibly early delivery! Blessings!

Tally and Tiara… Truss and Dylan
Tally and Tiara are two of the most radiant, adorable, fun, pregnant women I have ever met. They are both having boys at the end of October and they also happen to be sisters! It is Tiara’s second baby and Tally’s first. Whoever is lucky enough to deliver first will be bringing the first boy into their family in a while! They have two more sisters and the first grandchild was a girl! I don’t know if this family is ready for all the dirt and masculinity that these 2 boys are going to bring, but we will find out soon.
First, here are a few of the sisters and those adorable bellys!
