Luke is New Here!
Wow, it has been a long time since I have blogged, this little man is now almost 5 months old and has grown up so much. I know that because he is a very dear little man to me. He is the first born of my oldest friend in the world, Leslie, and her hilarious husband of four and a half years, Matt. He is such a delight, so here are his brand new pictures for your enjoyment…

His nursery is “Monkeys in Space” and the entire room is one big mural that his grandmother, Leslie’s Mom, painted for this little man (her first grandchild).

Early Fan… he is sporting his UT orange!

The last picture is him in the sweater that his great grandmother knitted for him… so precious!
Leslie, it is so fun to see you be a mom to this precious little boy, he is one lucky guy to have such a fun mom. I am so excited to be first time mommies together!

Jaquie and Kevin are engaged… my lil sis is growing up!
One of the best things about this business is you get to meet so many awesome people. You realize that every couple is special and awesome in their own way. That said, this engaged couple is really more special to me than any other that we have been able to photograph. The Bride is my little sister Jaquie, and the love of her life, Kevin. Of course I have known her since the day she was born. In addition to being able to watch her grow up, she is also one of the best friends I have ever had. And Kevin is a perfect fit for her. Enough chatting, I could go on and on, but I have to save my speech for the Wedding reception… We returned to the Roswell Mill which is where Kevin had popped the question.
This is the exact spot where Kevin proposed.

I love you both! I can’t wait for September!

Annelise Joy is half a year old!
I know that is not very old, but as the woman who held all 6lb 13oz of my tiny little bug on the day she was born, it is hard to believe that she is more than 8lbs heavier, sitting up, rocking on her hands and knees, and trying hard to let a couple teeth break through! She is my little Joy and as much as it feels like she has been around forever, it is equally hard to understand that she is half way to a year already! This baby session was a bit different for me in a sweet way! I gave James the camera, and I was the mom. I was trying to help her sit up and pull my arm out of the shot quickly before she toppled over. I was next to James singing songs and trying to get her to look at the camera and smile. I was changing her outfits and dolling her up for the next round of pics… and I loved it. My number one vocation is for sure parenthood. I love it! I couldn’t be prouder to be this little girl’s mommy and I wouldn’t change a bit of it. I am also blessed that I get to have another passion that I love in photography. I am truely blessed beyond measure and I don’t deserve any of it. Okay, here she is…

I have tried to use this little tutu/ hairband duo on a couple beautiful little girls. Newborn is a bit too young, 1 year, a bit to old cause they don’t want to wear the headband and the tutu is too itchy for them. I have decided 6 months is perfect!

Next, in just her BumGenius booty, near our door to outside, I love the way her eyes look in the sunlight!

Last out at the new Fowler Park in Cumming that just opened up a couple miles from our house! It was a gorgeous day, and her pink dress looked great in the grass!

She is hanging out on the precious quilt that her grandmother, James’s mom lovingly called Mim, spend countless hours making for her by hand!

Grabbed a couple more with the photographer, aka daddy, just before she was “ready” for dinner (and over getting her picture taken). 2 of my favorite pics of the day, and definitely my 2 favorite people! My Love and My Joy!

Annelise Joy, I can’t believe how big and smart you are already. You have definitely turned the corner from infant when you needed to be held or strapped into something, to a sweet baby getting more and more independent every day. I take great pride and so much joy in in watching you grow. I love you so much! Happy Six Months!

The Huffs just grew!
I (Lindsay) have the privilege of having an amazing friend named Zoe Huff. She and I have been friends since the year I graduated college, we worked side by side for a couple years (at one point our desks faced each other… trouble!), served as bridesmaids for each other, and have been close ever since. These days mommy-hood has us a bit spread out, so we have to put in a bit more effort to get some quality time, but we make it work. It had been far too long since I had the honor of photographing the (then) family of three, so we had to correct that before christmastime came and when at the end of last year. The last week of January, their family grew to include Kaiya Joy, whom I was able to visit in the hospital so look for a couple pink cuddly pics at the end of the post.

Dax and Kaiya, you have one of the greatest mommies ever! You are so blessed to have parents that love you and love the Lord with everything that they are! I am so blessed to have all 4 of you in my life! Thanks for letting me capture your little ones!

Ketchup…
WOW, it has been a long time since I blogged. Mommying, Nannying, and Photoging has kept me in delivery mode, as in get the pictures to the clients and worry about social media later. So here we go! I have a lot to catch you up on and I can’t wait because these are some awesome people that I have been saving for you! You are gonna love them! Oh, and I recently gave our website a facelift… check out www.adfotos.net!
For now here is a very recent photo of my baby girl who is now 6 months old!

Garrett and Allie are Married!
Did you ever want to feel like a rock star? What better opportunity than your wedding to dress, act, and feel like one? Garrett and Allie had the setting, the wardrobe, and the entourage. The setting was an old theatre in Huntington, West Virginia with vintage feel. The whole wedding party was styling in Toms: the girls wore yellow Toms and the guys wore white. Which brings me to the entourage. They had the coolest wedding party ever! I can say that because my husband was one of them, so look for him in some of the photos! But seriously, Garrett and Allie are the greatest of friends and they have such an amazing, remarkable, beautiful story that anything less than an amazing day just wouldn’t be right. So I guess you want to get a visual for this rock star event? Alright, here they are:

Garrett (the groom) is an amazing musician, so he sang the processional… one of my new favorite songs (You’re Beautiful by Phil Whickham).

A New Addition
In case you noticed that we have been a bit quiet and out of touch recently, here is our excuse:

Annelise Joy Christerson entered our lives on September 13th at 2:40am. She was 19.5 in long and 6 lb. 13 oz. She arrived 2 weeks before her due date and surprised us all! She is her momma’s joy and the apple of her daddy’s eye! We love her to pieces!

More pictures to come of this little Joy!

Rebekah is 3 months old!
It hasn’t been too long since you saw this little one last… 3 months to be exact. My sister and her little girl came over to capture an update. It is amazing how much they grow in such a short time! Last time I took pictures of her she was asleep practically the whole time. She also didn’t mind one bit being completely exposed. This day she was alert and very interested in what was going on around her! Love this little girl!

Jon and Jessica are Mr. and Mrs.!
There really is no way to start talking about what a joy it was to watch this couple get married. We always get to have a front row seat for the beginning of a new chapter of so many wonderful couples. This time, we got an even closer look. We get to know the couple’s relationship, how they met, what makes them love each other, what they look forward to in their life together; but this time we were a part of the relationship from their very first start to this new start in their story. About 13 or so months ago, James declared to me that he is going to set up his brother Jon with our friend Jessica. I, being the opposite of a matchmaker, was like: that would be cool. What made you think of that? James: they both are just looking to have fun, and the people they have been involved with are either too serious or make things complicated… So he commenced his devious plan. Jess almost backed out of this blind date, and she has reminded me that I told her: even if nothing comes of it, Jon is the kind of guy that you are gonna have a good time with. People just like to be around him… Low and behold, one year and one week after their first date, we were all gathered at The Vine Community Church to witness the marriage of this amazing couple! What makes this day so much more special is that not only do we now all share the same last name, not only do we get to be family for the rest of our lives, but Jon and Jessica are our best friends. We literally could not have been more ecstatic to be a part of this day. Oh, did I mention that we were also privileged to be in their wedding party? That’s right, you will see our cameos in the wedding party and ceremony pics… which leads me to a big thank you to two people. First, Katie Davidson Photography, we owe a debt of gratitude for your amazing work during the ceremony and so many beautiful details of the day. Thank you for rolling with the dumb weather that got in the way and being flexible to shoot inside with very little time to prepare! Also, to Jaquie Beute (by sweet sister) who not only did an amazing job on my hair (and many other bridesmaids) but for working the whole day for us as we needed to step into pictures, into the night to help us pack up and get home! You both were a godsend!
Alright, alright… here are the pics!

Jessica ordered all of our flowers from an artist on Etsy.com. This is her bridal bouquet and her hair flowers, both made out of material, buttons and pearls!

Jessica’s hair and makeup were gorgeously styled by Stacy Carto.

I bet you can’t guess where Jess found her wedding dress… no not David’s Bridal… Goodwill! She had it altered to fit her like a glove… take notes future brides, this girl knows how to save money!

Time to see each other… I love that they did this at their outdoor aisle, you will see why a little later…

Dress code for guys: any grey dress pants, coordinating shirt and tie, and chuck taylor converse shoes… topped off with flowers from etsy… this is the awesomeness that comes out of it…

Dress code for the girls: ANY Blue dress, brown shoes… really? and everyone gets flowers that will never die made out of fabric and buttons! Love you Jess!

This little girl happens to be one of my biggest joys in the world… Ladies and Gentlemen… Abby Christerson, my sweet niece, daughter of James’s older brother Tom and his wife Wendy.

Once again… thank you Katie Davidson for the detail and ceremony pics…
The jars are full of jam each handmade by Jessica’s mom, flower arrangements by a great friend Lynn Ferwerda, and program made (with help) by Jon and Jessica (Jess carved the stamp on the front… she couldn’t be more talented!)

Okay, so here is the play by play: It is ceremony time, and the skys still look pretty sunny with some clouds in the sky, not a drop though, all day long. As soon as the groom comes out and the wedding party starts walking down the aisle, it starts to drizzle, just before the bride steps outside… downpour!

So, after a little consideration and time, we start processional #2 at the all too convenient Plan B in the Vine’s Sanctuary, just feet from Plan A…

When the time came just before “you may kiss your bride” Jon got, well… a little anxious. This sweet man could not wait to officially kiss his wife for the first time! And of course, my sweet husband, with perfect position as the best man, couldn’t resist this chance to get an up close and personal image of this sweet first kiss…

Of course I can’t point out one of my joys with out drawing your attention to her counterpart and older brother, Caleb, the first Christerson grandchild, and the coolest 4 year old you will ever meet! check out that suit!

Time to party, thanks to DJ Josh Whitlock!

Rebekah is new Here!!
This post is especially exciting for me to share with you because this little girl is the first baby born to my sister, my parents’ first grandchild. She is my sweet little niece and she has a little Beute (my maiden name) nose just like me! She is pretty much perfect and the sweetest little newborn you have ever met (I might be biased). Born March 27th, I got to take these pictures when she was just about a week old! Here they are…

I love this little girl, and I love you both Sarah and Jason! Congrats on a perfect little first born! Love!

Happy Birthday James Trussell Sanders
Well, this is the first post of the new blog. First off, I hope that you guys are enjoying the new blog and the new look. Second off, you may notice that the archived (old) posts have some layout issues. We will be fixing that slowly, so please excuse the sloppiness for now. When importing posts from another blog it can be tough…
Well enough about the blog… I am glad to introduce, as our first post on the new blog…. James Trussell Sanders, or Truss for short.
Jake and Tally Sanders are some of our best friends. Its hard as a couple to find another couple that you both equally enjoy. Tally is an amazing woman, amazing listener, and an amazing friend. Jake and I (James) have known each-other for around 6 years. He is a great friend, encourager, and source of business advice for me… We have been in a church couples group with them for around 3 years…
Please with a warm welcome, say hello to our first and definitely not last post of Truss Sanders.

NEW YORK NEW YORK!
James and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary on September 1st, so as our anniversary gift to each other, we planned a trip to New York City, the first trip we have taken by ourselves since our honeymoon! Aside from booking the hotel and flights, we really didn’t plan anything until we got there, and it was great!

Dax Huff
I have been bugging my wonderful friend Zoe to let me take pictures of her adorable little boy for weeks, and we finally set it up! Dax Samuel was born the first week of April, so is almost four months, and completely adorable. He is at a great age were he is responding to us, but still looks like a tiny bundle. The weather was a little iffy, so we met at our apartment, where we had our studio background and lights ready. Here is the result…
